Location: good; Breakfast: decent; Service: you need to ask for toothbrush;personally at the reception it was not in the room; Rooms: clean and tidy; Good hotel near Chinatown, and other interesting spots to visit. Also they offer day taxi service.
Our final night in Thailand was here. 5 stars for value overall, which can’t be beat. Security at the main entrance provided a friendly greeting each time. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. A tourist desk was there with eager and friendly employees to help guests who might want to schedule tours or river dinner cruises. The lobby had a very warm feel and was decorated tastefully - a great place to hang out when planning or recapping the day. The Harley Davidson display (and more) was awesome to see. The Blissed Cafe off the lobby, including Elvis Presley memorabilia, had excellent coffee drinks and pastries, with friendly and attentive service. Also a great place to hang out or work on your laptop and look outside from one of the several seats facing the street. The elevator (lift) is tiny, so don’t be surprised there. The stairs are awesome to use instead and the sitting areas on each floor are a nice touch. There is a common room with a pool table, laundry, and perhaps a microwave too? It looked like a common eating area but I didn’t go inside. Check out old pictures of Bangkok line the hallways as you walk to your room. Rooms on the inside feature windows that view the inner veranda. The room with a king bed we had was not large but was plenty comfortable - small fridge, coffee & tea, small safe, and enough room to unpack. The bathroom was simple and small - 2 bath towels (no hand towel or washcloths) and hair & body wash dispensers in the shower. Hot water was HOT 😊. There are no extra toiletries as at other hotels. Perfect location to start walking and explore all that Chinatown has to offer - including the street food that can be found just a few blocks away. It felt plenty safe. I travel a moderate amount of time for business, and although this trip was for pleasure, I give the overall rating of five stars based on my overall experience given the nightly rate we paid, which was $28 USD. That can’t be beat. I can’t wait to return.
Budget-friendly choice if you love a clean, cozy, and minimalist vibe. Its location is incredibly convenient, sitting just a short walk from the main Chinatown area. The only real downside is the street noise. If you are a light sleeper, definitely request a room away from the roadside! Overall, it is an excellent value for a simple and comfortable stay.
The location is very convenient, as it’s close to Chinatown, making it easy for sightseeing and exploring. The hotel room and bathroom were clean and well-organized. I booked a room for three people with a balcony, which allowed plenty of natural sunlight in—something we really appreciated. The weather in Bangkok was extremely hot, so after a long day, all we wanted was to return to the hotel and rest comfortably. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had bought quite a lot of pastries, and since the refrigerator in our room wasn’t large enough, the staff kindly helped store them for us. We truly appreciate their support. The hallway from the elevator to the rooms was quite hot, but it didn’t affect our overall experience since it only took about 30 seconds to get to the room. Every time we entered or left the hotel, there was a kind gentleman who opened the door for us, which made us feel very welcome. We’d like to send him our sincere thanks. There are also two 7-Eleven stores near the hotel, which was very convenient for us. If I visit Bangkok again, I would definitely book W22 Hotel again.
This hotel is extremely clean with the kind of staff that make me feel comfortable and at home immediately. I will always come back to this hotel whenever I'm visiting Bangkok. The cafe downstairs is also very delicious and serves the best coffees and delicious pastries. I can't say enough about how kind the staff are and how clean our room is. There is not a single bug or bad smell. Love this place! Also, the design of the hotel is really beautiful. I'm very impressed. The interior design is gorgeous and very comfortable. There is even a doorman that opens the door for you every time you enter or exit the place. I feel very special and very welcomed here. thank you to all of the staff for making my stay in Bangkok lovely. Oh, also, you are right in Chinatown so you are surrounded by good food and plenty of culture, and great Spa services from Massage to beauty. The hotel also has tour operators right in the lobby which is very convenient. The rooms don't have microwaves but on the second floor, there is a microwave, gym equipment, pool table, washing machines and library. Downside is that there is no iron that I've found, so far.
