VIX Bangkok Hotel @ Victory Monument

Beoordelingen
The hotel was clean, and the room was well-equipped with all the essential amenities. However, the in-room slippers were quite slippery on the floor. I would recommend the hotel consider using a different material to make them safer for guests. The location is excellent, close to the city center and the BTS station. Since the hotel is located inside a mall, there are plenty of restaurants just upstairs. My room overlooked the BTS tracks, which was an interesting city view. Please note that the hotel does not offer a breakfast buffet. I stayed in early January 2026, which was still a peak travel period, so the room rate was a bit higher than at other times of the year. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The lobby has a coffee machine and a microwave for guests to use, and there's even a luggage scale so you can weigh your bags before heading to the airport, a thoughtful touch that deserves 100/100! There's also a famous boat noodle restaurant just a one-minute walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
The room is quite small but functions well, smells good, nice bed and soundproof. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Location is great, near BTS Victory Monument, just need to take a few stations to go to the nicest malls Siam Paragon and Central world. Will definitely recommend it.
The hotel is conveniently located just a 6-minute walk from BTS Victory Monument station and is right next to Victory Hub Mall, making it easy to get around and access nearby amenities. Pros: 1. Excellent proximity to the BTS station. 2. Centrally located, with malls and eateries nearby. 3. Rooms are of a decent size and not overly cramped. 4. Great value hotel Cons: 1. The hotel’s exterior looks quite different from the official photos and appears rather run-down from the outside. 2. Soundproofing is poor — we could clearly hear people talking along the corridor, the BTS trains passing by, and noise from surrounding buildings. 3. The room layout is unusual, with the bathroom and toilet positioned near the entrance and the sleeping area separated inside. We found this design uncomfortable, as opening the main door exposes the bathroom area, which feels awkward and lacks privacy. 4. The surrounding area is very busy with heavy traffic. Booking a taxi to the airport can be challenging during peak hours, so it’s advisable to pre-book transport through the hotel for peace of mind.
The place is in a great location, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. I would recommend. I took off 2 stars for those reasons tho: 1 - Even if it's clean, there is rust all over the shower faucets and what looked like black mold behind the sinks. 2 - The utilities look great but the fridge could barely keep anything cold (My fruits were still barely cool the next morning). And there were lights on the wall and above the bed for mood and we could not find any switch to switch them off. So we had to sleep with the lights on. (There was a switch from the bathroom portion of the room that was just broken and missing, maybe it has something to do with this) Moreover —and I know this is technically my fault— I forgot my custom earplugs for sleep in the room when I checked out. The desk staff was really nice and called the new customer in the room and they could not find it. Then he says that it's policy that the staff should bring back what they find to the desk. I don't know who's lying but still frustrating.
The hotel is located inside a small shopping complex, about a 6-minute walk from Victory Monument BTS station. There’s a bus stop right next to the hotel, and since Victory Monument is a major transport hub, it’s easy to get to many different places from there. There are also two other shopping malls and a small local market nearby, so it’s very convenient for food and drinks. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast. The room size was just right — not cramped at all. The shower and toilet are separated, which is nice, but in my room, the shower door couldn’t close tightly, so water tended to spill out during showers. Overall, it’s a good choice for the price — comfortable, convenient, and affordable.
