The room I stayed in had a weird layout. Shower was pretty cramped too, it's difficult to open and close the glass door when you're inside. Location was great, just right beside the BTS station and a few stops away from Siam.
Very nice service, very kind staff! The room I booked was the cheapest with an upgrade! It was totally fine! Luckily got a quiet room, no noise from outside! The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean totally fine, not tiny! I only had one problem, that is the AC above the bed. If you turn on the AC, you’ll be super cold while sleeping. But I’m totally satisfied with the hotel!!
Booked 2 rooms. The hotel has a great room design and a very convenient location near public transport. However, several areas need improvement. For housekeeping, room cleaning was not done thoroughly, as basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, and towels were not refilled. During our 4-night stay across 2 rooms, we had to repeatedly inform the front desk, which was quite inconvenient. These should be part of the standard SOP for a 4-star hotel. There was also an issue with parking arrangements. We requested to temporarily park our motorcycle and switch to a car on the last night. However, the night shift receptionist rejected the request, saying parking was full and that we had already used the hotel parking. Communication with the security team was also poor. Later, when my partner checked again, it turned out there was still available parking. Only the morning shift staff were friendly and provided good service. Overall, the night shift staff’s attitude and communication need improvement. With 2 rooms booked, we should have been accommodated with 2 parking spaces, but the request was rejected without proper checking and with an unfriendly tone. I hope this can be improved.
I stayed at Vib Best Western for 4 nights. The hotel is located right next to an MRT stop. Public transport is so easy and convenient. The room was big enough to include a desk and chair and a dressing area where I could open my bags and keep them open. There are multiple electrical sockets, so if two people are travelling with multiple gadgets, it is just so easy to charge all the gadgets at once. The staff is polite, friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I would have is to "please switch on the air conditioning at the reception". I arrived early by almost 5–6 hours and planned to go for breakfast since there was time before check-in, but my phone was not charged, so I sat at the reception to charge my electronics, and it was steaming hot. This, too, at 9 in the morning. It was literally like a sauna, and I had to rush out to find a cafe that would have air conditioning. This was in the month of March – I can't imagine how it would be in the hot summer months. I am sure that for a 4-star property, they can manage to get central air conditioning for the reception area at least. Hence the 4 star or else it deserves a 5 star for the price they charge.
Family of 4 adults, booked 2 adjacent rooms for a 4 nights. Purposely booked as it is right beside a BTS stop, neiborhood is quiet, 711 is 2 doors down and we only needed a place to sleep on leave our stuff (note the rooms are smaller than the average Bangkok room for the same price). But staff are great, room and bathroom as well kept and clean plus it's actually easy to get around since the BTS is literally outside your door!
