The sweetest most helpful people ever! The hotel itself is very comfortable with many towels provided + balconies + drinking water/free coffee bar. They let us back in our room after checkout so we could shower after sweating in the hot Bangkok heat, so kind! Only negative is the area around the hotel seems kind of skuzzy as there’s many homeless people always hanging out, but there were never any issues. Not a far walk for restaurants or the Grand Palace
FANTASTIC !!!! From the pictures on booking app we knew the place had great charm and this is why we picked it! And the reality is as good as on the picture. We had the king bed balcony room, which actually is more like a terrace and offer great outdoor sens To the room. Everything net and clean , and the Deco is very well done along the HERITAGE concept. It is a small boutique hotel, so don’t expect pools or restaurants…. Here you come for the experience to stay in a quiet elegant and very well preserved heritage building! Exactly what we love ! Thanks to the lovely team who are very sweet helpful and friendly.
This hotel has beautiful scenery. The light blue and wooden decor, the balcony, and the view outside are all wonderful. I stayed here for a few days to relax. There is a laundry room downstairs, so I could wash my clothes, dry them on the balcony, and enjoy the view outside—it was so pleasant. The room was very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. When we ordered takeout and ate on the first floor, they even brought us bowls and utensils for our food. They were so kind. Thank you for the great stay!
We stayed for four nights at the hotel and enjoyed it very much! The location was perfect for exploring Bangkok - several famous cultural sites (The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun) are within walking distance or a short tuk tuk ride, and there were countless amazing places to eat in the area. Our room also had excellent air conditioning, which is a must given the hot climate. While the hotel is a very short walk to Khaosan Road, note that it is not in a touristy area. The area surrounding the hotel may look rough upon first impression, but we felt totally safe including walking outside at night. We also really appreciated the hospitality shown by the staff. We were greeted warmly with a cup of tea and a snack upon our arrival, and free coffee, drinking water and breakfast muffins were available throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again for future visits to Bangkok!
BOOK YOUR ROOM! :) Wiengket Heritage 1964 is truly a hidden gem near Khaosan Road, yet it still feels very relaxed and quiet. I loved my stay from the beginning to the end of my trip and felt welcome right away. We arrived quite late since our flight landed at 9 pm, but the hotel made everything very easy. We received clear instructions for self check-in and a code to access the room cards, which worked perfectly. The next morning we were greeted by the owner, who was incredibly kind and gave us great tips about things to do in the area. The rooms were absolutely spotless — honestly cleaner than any place I have stayed before. The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and we also had a lovely balcony. I honestly have nothing to complain about. Some reviews mention homeless people and night workers in front of the hotel, and while that is true, it did not make us feel uncomfortable or unsafe at all. There is also a 7-Eleven nearby where you can easily grab snacks and drinks, and the hotel itself offers a snack bar available at all times. On the last day, the staff helped us carry our heavy luggage into the grab car, we truly appreciate the service! I would happily recommend this place to my family and friends and would love to come back again as soon as possible. A 10/10 stay and absolutely worth every penny.
