Absolutely adore this hotel. The staff was so sweet and breakfast was great. I only stayed for one night when stopping through Bangkok but I will stay here again in the future; it was very cozy and felt like coming home to a house rather than a hotel. The location was a little off the beaten path, but I thought that added to its charm. They also had some really cute, friendly cats.
I absolutely loved staying at Siamotif Boutique Hotel. There are so many good things to say about this hotel. I wanted to stay somewhere quieter and off the beaten path, and this place is perfect for a solo traveler. Staying in Thonburi gives you a glimpse of more local Thai life and neighborhoods, and away from the chaos of the more touristy parts of town. Public transportation (MRT train) is easy to use and within walking distance. Yakie and the other staff are so helpful, kind, and hospitable. Yakie gave me instructions on how to get around using the ferries, and MRT, that helped me be brave and venture out. And, the breakfast was superb, honestly the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel, so much good food every morning. They also served me other meals when it was more convenient for eat at the hotel, also delicious. Yakie also helped me book a couple of massages at clinics within walking distance from the hotel, excellent! My room was so comfortable, and beautiful, a great space to rest after sightseeing and shopping. The view of the river is so lovely and peaceful, I enjoyed sitting out in the patio to journal, read, and eat my meals. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend!
I saw this little inn’s name popping up in travel blogs and the concept and setting intrigued me. I decided with only 2 nights in Thailand on a stopover I wanted to stay somewhere memorable, with lots of character and that would give us a taste of Thai hospitality… and that is exactly what we got. Don’t let the out-of-the-way journey through the rambling alleyway deter you. A hidden oasis of peace and relaxation await you behind the little gate into the Siamotif. These ladies who work here are special souls who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for. We stayed in the Charcoal room and it was so unique and comfortable with our little patio to read or watch the longboats go by… particularly magical at night with all the lights lit up on the property twinkling on the water. Wonderful shower, crisp linens, thoughtful touches. Yakie made us the best breakfasts we had on our trip… little works of culinary art full of Thai flavour and fresh herbs from their very own courtyard garden. We ate a few other meals there as well and equally loved them…especially the amazing curries. She also helped us navigate any adventure we took on that day, making suggestions for massages, dining options in the neighbourhood and how to get to where we needed to go. If you want a place of reflection and relaxation to come home to at the end of touring chaotic Bangkok, look no further. We will think about this special little place and its even more special ladies forever 🩷 Thank you for making our first taste of Thailand so sweet!
Really enjoyed our stay at Siamotif! Definitely feels less touristy than staying right in Bangkok but you still have easy access to the MRT here. We stayed in the Celadon room and loved the private balcony. It also had great A/C and we received waters and fresh towels every day! The included breakfast was my favorite part and it was always very good. The ladies are also very kind and hospitable. Yakie was very helpful with any questions we had! Keep in mind, when you arrive, you have to walk all the way down Alley 6 past the temples and everything until you get to the Siamotif sign. Would recommend!
We recently took a family trip, and this was our first stop and what an amazing start! The place is small and cozy, with hospitality that is incomparable. The communication and attention to detail were outstanding. After an exhausting day visiting temples, we inquired about dinner, as we were too tired to go out and wanted something fresh. All I can say is, it was DELICIOUS! 😋 The mango sticky rice has created an addiction! I sincerely hope to return one day. We had two rooms, and the adorable cats made perfect little bodyguards for our daughters' room. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting!
