Jasmine 59 Hotel
Bangkok
Recensioni
Jasmin 59 is a great hotel with very professional and friendly service. They tried their best to help arrange us a taxi even though me and my pregnant wife were so confused with a couple of the taxi apps during rush hour. We highly recommend this hotel to all travelers, especially those who may need help navigating Bangkok!
We had an excellent stay at Jasmine. The staff was simply outstanding, always friendly, attentive and professional. Our room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. Although the hotel is a little away from the lively central Sukhumvit area, it is very well connected by BTS, making it easy to reach Bangkok's main districts. We would happily stay here again!
I have been living in this hotel for so many times and each time the experience is the same. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Most of them are long-term employees ( at least so for the past three to four years). It’s also tucked in a quiet street of the busy Thonglo area, which makes it a perfect stay if you are a city person but prefers a more quiet ambiance.
The biggest issue with this hotel is the 5-star claim. The pool and onsen spa are good, but that's the only redeeming features unfortunately. The location is inconvenient for nearby restaurants or anything, really. They provide a shuttle, and they try hard to make it convenient, but it's still inevitable that sometimes you'll have to walk to the hotel in the rain. There's no real bar, only a breakfast restaurant with dinner tables, which aren't a welcoming venue to relax. You'll end up going to other restaurants to use their bars. Breakfast was okay, but not great. Definitely 4-star hotel breakfast. The staff tried hard, and were very good. We had to move rooms due to a water leak in the ceiling, and weren't offered an upgrade or anything complimentary to apologise. Both rooms were the executive suites, which are well equipped and nice. The bathroom lacks even 4-star quality shampoo/conditioner/soap/moisturiser. That was a definite 3-star low-ball for them. Not a huge thing, but added to the overall feeling that the Jasmine group is not trying to impress, just survive, at least at this hotel. The aircon in both rooms we stayed in did not work well - The air would just blow cold no matter what setting. We left it at 30 degrees in the main room and had to turn it off in the bedroom. For the price we paid, it's great. No complaints at all. But equally I would have paid a little more for a 5-star hotel, or expected a little less from this one. I chose it because it was a 5-star hotel at a 4-star price, and I thought that was just due to the inconvenience of the location. It turned out to be both location and quality. Overall the two other 4-star hotels I've stayed at in the same area in the last month were much better. And there is no comparison at all to the nearby 5-star hotels I've stayed at. If the hotel changed to advertising as a 4-star hotel I'd be reviewing it as 4 or 5 star review. 4 or 5 star is a subjective thing here, and I know that.
The hotel itself is quite new. The room is very spacious and clean. The bathroom is clean. The staff are friendly, they have mini van to drop you to the main road so you can walk to the nearest BTS (Tong Lor). Everything is great... But the minus is on the breakfast. I stayed 4 nights, and everyday breakfast is mainly the same... The difference is in the meat, today chicken soup tomorrow fish soup, the day after pork soup (it's the same with congee). Also the food variety also very limited (very few), unlike other 5 stars hotel. Sorry to say but your breakfast variety is like 2 stars hotel. Please improve for the breakfast variety and quality.
