My first trip in Bangkok and the hotel location has made it even better. Our room was spectacular and the view was good although there was ongoing construction next door it did not bother us at all. The customer service was excellent from house keeping through the front desk. Onsite laundry was a plus. I ran into an issue with one of the dryers not drying the clothes and the front desk helped resolved the issue. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again in the near future and highly recommend it.
We haven't considered staying anywhere else since my daughters first recommended the Holiday Inn Express years ago. Over time, the hotel has only gotten better. The staff are professional, courteous, and truly excel at what they do. One of the best perks is the convenience—you’ll never go hungry with a McDonald’s right on the ground floor for a quick bite. We also love the buffet breakfast; the variety changes daily and offers a perfect balance of local mains, English breakfast items, pastries, and fresh fruit. Even the corridors are beautifully lit, creating a lovely, romantic atmosphere on the way to the room. The location is unbeatable, with MBK, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, and Siam Paragon just around the corner, and the Jim Thompson House a mere 300 meters away. Plus, the view overlooking the National Stadium is fantastic. After a wonderful surprise birthday meal during my stay last October, I’m more certain than ever: this remains our favorite hotel, and we aren't changing for sure!
After many years of staying at the Holiday Inn in Sathon (Silom), I decided to try the Holiday Inn Bangkok (Siam) for this trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the room; it is larger, much brighter due to the full-height windows, and the bathroom was cleaner with much stronger water pressure. The service for IHG members is outstanding. They really make you feel valued by printing out your name and point info, and clearly explaining your privileges. Another huge plus was the late check-out offered until 2pm, which made the departure much smoother. The breakfast buffet also wins over the Sathon branch the spread is wider and the staff are very quick to top up the food. The only downside is that the furniture looked outdated. A refurbishment is definitely needed, but the service and room size still make it a great stay
Stayed here 1 night, quite impressed. Great location, super close to MBK and Siam, with BTS just a short walk away. The room was clean, well-sized, and very comfortable — especially the bed. Breakfast buffet had a decent variety and was a nice way to start the day. Love coffee from CPS coffee shop in front of the hotel. Overall, great value for money and perfect for exploring the city with easy transport. Recommend for tourist.
