This place is my second home I feel like, every time I come to Bangkok I stay here. The rooms are excellent and the rooftop pool is a great way to spend an afternoon and obviously you’re just steps away from party central. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on arrival or before departure from Thailand.
We had a great stay at Dang Derm Khaosan! The location is perfect — right at the end of Khao San Road, so you’re close to everything but not stuck in the middle of the loud “doof doof” nightlife. It made a big difference being able to step out and explore easily, then come back to a more relaxed atmosphere. The rooftop pool was a real highlight — such a lovely space to unwind after a busy day in Bangkok. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the price was excellent for what you get. Our room had everything we needed and was comfortable and practical for our trip. Overall, fantastic value for money and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended if you want convenience, comfort, and a quieter spot near the action.
I stayed at Dang Derm Khaosan, and it’s a great option if you want to explore Khao San Road. The biggest advantage is the location—it’s right in the heart of Khao San, so everything is just a short walk away, including bars, street food, and nightlife.  The hotel itself is good and offers a comfortable stay for the price. It’s definitely a better option compared to many other stays in the Khao San area. One thing to keep in mind is that since it’s located in such a lively area, it can get quite noisy at night—but that’s expected when you stay here.  Overall, if your plan is to enjoy the Khao San vibe and stay close to everything, this hotel is a solid choice.
Great place to stay in Bangkok if you’re looking for a social and well-located hostel. Dang Derm Dorm is right in the heart of Khao San Road, so everything is close by; bars, restaurants, shops, and transport. The rooms and common areas were clean, and the atmosphere was fun and lively, perfect for meeting other travelers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it offers good value for money. Just a helpful tip: Google Maps usually sends you to the orange Dang Derm, but this review is for the green one across the street. You’ll see a gallery that starts with a pharmacy at the front, and the hotel entrance is located at the back. Also, keep in mind that Khao San Road has parties 24/7, so if you’re okay with noise and a lively vibe, this is a great place to stay. They also have a great rooftop with a bar/restaurant, but note that it only accepts cash. For getting to or from the airport, you can conveniently take the S1 bus, which stops nearby.
