We had a decent stay at The Quarter Ratchathewi. The room was always clean, and housekeeping did a good job. The staff were friendly and helpful, although communication could sometimes be difficult as not everyone spoke English well. While the hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, it didn’t quite meet my expectations of a 4-star hotel. Breakfast was quite basic and could be improved. On a few occasions, the hot dishes, particularly the pasta, were undercooked. Our room had a small balcony, but it would have been much nicer if chairs had been provided so guests could actually use the space. The location is convenient, with Malaysian and Indonesian food options as well as several massage shops nearby. However, the heavy construction makes it difficult to cross the road, and traffic in the area is extremely congested. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel offers reasonable value for money.
Very aesthetic vibes! If you are looking for a boutique hotel that is instagrammable, this is the place for you. Don't expect the breakfast spread to have a wide assortment. Although the food was okay, and there were a lot of fruits. Hotel staff are nice. The lady in the reception can speak english well. Location-wise, Platinum mall is walkable from here. Centralworld is also walkable if you are up for a good 20min walk. There are nearby 7 Eleven stores and some food options available.
I had a very pleasant stay at The Quarter Ratchathewi by UHG. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, and the breakfast selection was enjoyable with a good variety of choices. Overall, the hotel atmosphere was modern, cozy, and relaxing. The location is also very convenient. The hotel is within walking distance to Bangkok BTS Ratchathewi Station, making it easy to travel around Bangkok. There is also a 7-Eleven nearby for quick snacks and essentials. Another plus point is that it is only one BTS station away from Phaya Thai Station, which connects directly to the Airport Rail Link, making airport transfers very convenient. One area that could be improved is the enforcement of balcony rules. I noticed some guests hanging clothes at the balcony, which affects the overall appearance of the hotel. I also witnessed a foreign guest smoking at the balcony and throwing ashes down from above, which was unpleasant and could also be a safety concern. Aside from that, I had a great experience overall and would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Bangkok.
Clean, modern hotel with very friendly staff! We booked to stay here for one night and were pleased with everything. The staff were extremely helpful and quick to get us checked in and settled. The hotel is clean and modern and the room as comfortable with everything you need. We didn’t get a chance to use the facilities but we had a look around and found the gym to be well equipped, and the rooftop pool looked great. They also have a coin-operated laundry machine next to the pool which was a plus! Ideal location with lots of cafes and coffee shops within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in Bangkok :)
We had to boom this hotel at short notice to cover our additional stay in Bangkok due to the war in the gulf. We had a slight delay checking in and so the manager upgraded our room to a spacious room with a kitchen that was more like a serviced apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable and huge. The service was faultless and although the hotel is situated in busy ratchathewi (a minute away from the sky train) the room was quiet. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the coffee place on the ground floor is excellent. You are within walking distance of Central World and Paragon Siam and there are thousands of restaurants nearby. All this came in at under £500 gbp for a week. Amazing!
