A great rooftop were we keep coming back, the location is convenient, the skyline views are great, the staff is friendly, the beer choice is large, and the prices are reasonable for a rooftop. Yet, the burger and the fries were somehow disappointing last time (no the meat taste I would expect in a burger). This won't prevent us from coming back there!
I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors of Belga- food was excellent, good portion sizes and a great, Belgian/ European decor. Staff were great- Jan and Nana especially made the meal and evening really lovely. They offered extra bread and gave great menu suggestions too. Really enjoyed Belga and our pre dinner drinks on the rooftop balcony too as sunset
I have been invited by my Belgian friends here. The rooftop bar and brasserie is located on the 32nd floor of Sofitel Bangkok hotel. The BTS Nana station is the closest or from BTS Asok, the skywalk give directly to the hotel entrance. With a belgian style ambiance red tone like one of a cigarette brand. All is good, we ordered bitterballen as an appetizer and main dishes are Moules frites, Waterzooi and boulettes à la Liégeoise. For dessert, we ordered Gaufres de Bruxelles with creme fraiche (but the staff misunderstood and brought vanila ice cream instead😅) with Strawberry. Well, it was delicious anyway. But only thing that my friends and I had felt is that the staff are very insisting in taking charge of making us order, pulling off the dishes and three of us havent finished all our dishes and making us pay while the restaurant are occupied only 2 tables inside. Unfortunately for them, if I were a new coming customer for the first time trying Belgian cuisine and I saw not much customer inside, I will probably think that the food was not good...same thought as my belgian friends. If they could adjust this rythm and see the proper rapidity as suitable for each situation would be good for them. By the way, the rooftop zone is quite friendly and small space, but you still can enjoy your drinks with the nice view of the town. I do also recommended this rooftop on my personal page for my other francophone friends for those who would like to experience this cuisine. But yeah, if this could be considered would be great.
Had a great time at Belga Rooftop Bar & Brasserie. The food was excellent as always, with a great atmosphere and beautiful rooftop vibe. Service was attentive and welcoming throughout the evening, especially from K. Nan and K. Ploy who took very good care of us. Highly recommended for both food and ambiance!
Nice Belgian rooftop restaurant. Enjoy Belgian food and sunset/night view. Fresh ingredients. Delicious taste. Recommended dishes are oysters 🦪, lobster 🦞, Belgian fries and Belgian waffles. Variety choices of beers and other drinks. Reservation is recommended especially for outdoors area.
