One cannot say enough good things about the Shangri-La. From the second you enter, staff are attentive, kind, and helpful. We arrived after 18 hours of flying and too early to check in, and the staff was kind enough to hold our bags and allow us to lounge by the pool until our room was ready. The location is simply spectacular. Every inch of the building is luxurious and well maintained, from the breathtaking pool area, the tasty restaurants, the truly amazing spa, and of course the rooms. We got a river view room, and it exceeded our expectations entirely. The bed was plush and comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean, and all the furnishings were beautiful. This hotel is truly worth the money, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Well done.

The hotel itself is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and perfectly located along the Chao Phraya River. Combined with the exceptional service, it made our family holiday truly unforgettable. We stayed at the Shangri-La Bangkok from the 27th to the 30th of June, and it was an absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and a gorgeous riverside setting that makes you feel like you are in paradise. The location is completely on point—a perfect 10/10. It is incredibly scenic while still being exceptionally convenient for exploring the city. We booked a bed and breakfast package, and the breakfast was amazing. The food selection was vast and high quality, and eating in such a beautiful environment each morning was the perfect start to our day. Every single member of staff we encountered was amazing, incredibly welcoming, and went out of their way to look after us 😊
Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Shangri-La Bangkok! From arrival to departure, everything was handled flawlessly. A special thank you to Bell from the Front Office and the AFOM for their warm hospitality and professionalism. Check-in and check-out were smooth, efficient, and truly seamless. The property is magnificent, beautifully maintained, and offers a stunning atmosphere throughout. I stayed in Deluxe River View Room 1733, and the view was simply spectacular. Watching the Chao Phraya River during both the day and night was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was outstanding and easily one of the best I’ve had at any hotel, with excellent quality and a wide selection of choices. Another highlight was the complimentary shuttle boat service to ICONSIAM. It was incredibly convenient, well-organized, and made exploring the city along the river a wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I highly recommend Shangri-La Bangkok to anyone visiting Bangkok and look forward to returning again.
We travel frequently, and so far this has been one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The customer service was exceptional, the rooms were beautiful and spotless, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food options. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and often anticipated our needs before we even asked. The hotel also has a beautiful view and an excellent location, which made our stay even more enjoyable. My only concern was that the pool closes at 8pm, whereas other Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts properties we’ve stayed at usually keep their pools open until 10pm. Extending the pool hours would make the experience even better.
