We had an amazing stay! The breakfast was delicious, and the service from Khun Nan and Khun Pik made it even better. Despite the long holiday and being so busy they were always running around helping guests with a smile and making sure everyone had the best experience. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without them. Even the drivers were so cheerful and welcoming. They truly are some of the best staff we’ve ever encountered and honestly deserve a big raise!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Away Bangkok Riverside Kene! The room was incredibly spacious more than enough room to comfortably fit our family of five, which can be hard to find. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hospitality; the whole team made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after. The breakfast buffet was a real highlight, with a fantastic spread and great food every morning. A special mention goes to Nan, who looked after the breakfast area. She was extremely attentive and went out of her way to cater to every one of our needs when it came to food, nothing was too much trouble for her. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a memorable stay!
It feels like staying in an art gallery. The hotel has a very modern design, and the building looks new and well maintained. The pool area is beautiful and gives a very modern vibe. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and everything tastes delicious, fresh, and served hot. The shuttle service to Asiatique The Riverfront and ICONSIAM is very convenient and easy to book. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Even though I live in Thailand, I will definitely come back again for a staycation.
This review is for Marni Eatery where The Away Hotel’s daily breakfast is served. We’ve stayed at this hotel before which I wrote a review on it. My husband and I have been regular customers here for quite some time, (even though we’re not staying here anymore) and enjoy eating their breakfast offerings and what a lovely spread! My husband loves the Made to Order Egg station where he always orders the Thai Omelette as it’s the best he’s ever had. I always order their classic omelette and it never fails. The egg is never overcooked and never undercooked and the texture is just perfect. They also make fresh fried rice right in front of you and it is delicious! Other offerings were stir fried pork with vegetables, Chinese donuts and many numerous Asian main entrees to choose from. There’s also a salad bar and fresh fruits like the usual sweet watermelon and cantaloupe. The buffet could do with more variety of fresh fruits. Just two sweet pastry selections were there to choose as well as toast your own bread and a variety of jams. The usual help yourself to a few specialty coffees that you operate from a one touch machine (which is common for Bangkok hotels) was there too. “Nan” was our greeter who greeted us in and she was very welcoming and friendly. We love coming here and seeing all the smiling faces on the employees, I can see they all love working here!
If you’re looking for an under the radar spot this is it! We loved our breakfast buffet with Nan and Cartoon. They were very attentive & kind ladies. Overall the hotel was excellent!
