A great atmosphere that feels like you’re outdoors, thanks to all the greenery and the beautiful pond. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a cigar while listening to live music. They also have a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Definitely a relaxing spot to spend the evening.
1st visit to this bar in Bangkok. Food, Service and Atmosphere are good. Special mentioned to the waiters Jame and Jaopla. They are attentive and meet all your request. The only disappointment was smoking is allowed and we were forced to breathe in second hand smoke! Very disgusting!
We chance upon this bar, enticed by the live bar and the overall vibe of the place. little did we know that we will be so entertained for the evening. The cocktails helmed by the lead bartender Ryan and his team (Lek, Vee, to name a few) was very well executed. My partner does not like Negroni but she enjoyed their version of it very well? including some shots out of it. The overall theme surrounding the 2 ducks in the pond was whacky, lack of a better term. The cigars are not too bad but selection are limited. One need to feel to pick the right one without getting any plugged (i was lucky to have a good Hoyo No. 2). We were also lucky - Friday live band wss by the Singer Aom ( I hope i spelt her name correctly ). She was lively, and certainly entertaining with lots of interaction with the patrons of the bar / restaurant. I am impressed by her range of songs - from Mandarin, French, Korean, Thai and English (I heard she can sing in Japanese too. 😅). Something that one should not miss to start their weekend. :)
AquaBar is a masterclass in atmosphere and craft. As a founder/traveler who values both precision and a relaxed environment, I found this to be the perfect spot for a refined evening in Bangkok city. The mixology here is exceptional; every cocktail is balanced and thoughtfully presented. The open-air (with AC) courtyard setting provides a sophisticated oasis that feels worlds away from the urban bustle. Service is seamless and attentive, reflecting a deep commitment to high-end hospitality. The whole team is just amazing!!! Definitely coming back again and again!!!
Had pre-dinner drinks and the cocktail menu was interesting. The drinks were well presented and executed and overall very enjoyable. The service was also attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. The only, but quite a bit of a downside was the presence of many mosquitoes - two were already visible upon arrival and during about an hour of our time there, I came away with 5 bites.
