I stayed here for 3 nights on a Bleisure trip. I was in more lively area in the weekend and needed somewhere closer to the river where my clients were located. I didn’t love the amenities nearby but did love the hotel and spent most of my time there. What I found most impressionable was the little touches from the staff. They are incredible, better than many 5 star resorts I’ve been each and everyone of them willing to go the extra mile for you with a smile on their face in the process I also enjoyed the sauna, steam room and other extras available to the guests. The pool is lovely, the gym is decent. Overall great experience
I wish I could have stayed longer, I had such a great stay at the W. I arrived very early in the morning and intended to just leave my luggage and head out but Ms. Fa from the welcome desk (I hope I’m writing her name correctly, sorry I did not ask) arranged a room that was ready for an early check in. I was out of the room for most of the time and when I was back at night, the W Insider, Faustine placed a beautiful hand written card for me with a set of amenities that just made my entire day!! The crew at check out was so smiley and engaging I really did not want to leave. Breakfast was great and with many options, I ordered a macchiato but somehow I got an americano, it’s okay, it happens and a love Americano as well haha 10/10
Attending friends wedding at the hotel. I have been impressed with the service starting from the front of hotel by staffs helping with the luggages. Check in time is so quick and efficiency. - Room has the good size (twin share) big comfortable bed (very very comfortable) Nice and clean and well equip as you would expected from 5 stars hotel. - A bit warning about bathroom as it seems to be transparent 😆 if you share the room with friends might be a bit awkward (if couples, not a problem) So should check with staff about bathroom. - Breakfast has great options, many many choices and nationality. Staffs are sooooo attentive, helpful and polite (as well friendly) Big space for breakfast. - Gym facilities is great, you will have good equipment to workout. It is a pity that I did not have a chance to check out at the pool or pool party.
We had a fantastic stay at the W Hotel as a family of 3. The room was excellent--blackout curtains, comfortable bedding, hot shower, and a/c worked great. It was quiet throughout our stay of 4 nights. The facilities were excellent --the pool was relaxing and the gym was very well equipped with everything needed for a proper workout. We had breakfast here every day during our stay, and it was always a wonderful experience. The staff was very attentive, efficient, and incredibly warm. This was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at!
A great Bangkok outpost Stayed 5 nights at W Bangkok and had a very comfortable return visit. We were upgraded to a suite on the 29th floor using Marriott SNAs—spacious, well-appointed, and exactly what you’d expect from the W brand. The gym (with Technogym equipment) and the WET deck pool remain standout amenities, just as impressive as our last stay. The biggest change this time was the breakfast. Previously a highlight, the buffet now feels more average compared to other 5-star properties. There are noticeable reductions in selection—most notably, the memorable sweet burnt coconuts are no longer included and have been moved to a paid lunch offering. A bit disappointing, and reflective of the broader trend of less included value. That said, service remains excellent. The breakfast team—led by a personable manager with impeccable English—was proactive, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Even minor issues were handled quickly and professionally. Overall, still a strong stay: comfortable rooms, great facilities, and a convenient location near two Skytrain stations. I’d continue to recommend W Bangkok as a solid option, though on our next visit we’ll likely explore other 5-star properties within Marriott or IHG for comparison.
