A wonderful place to stay in Bangkok! The highlight of our stay was definitely the incredibly friendly host, who goes above and beyond to help guests plan their day and make the most of their time in the city. His hospitality makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The breakfast is excellent and something different to enjoy each day. The hotel itself is small and cozy, creating a warm and personal atmosphere that is hard to find in larger properties. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and very well maintained. While the building is a little older, it has plenty of charm and is surprisingly quiet. We experienced virtually no outside noise at all—only the pleasant sounds of nature and the occasional clinking of cooking pots from the kitchens of the neighbors which only added to the homely feel of the place. 😊 If you're looking for a peaceful, authentic, and welcoming stay in Bangkok, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!
A slice of hostory property, authentic traditional but will all upgraded amenities. Clean and well maintained. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Walking distance from Khao San, royal palace and emerald temple.
Friendly welcome. Clean room and firm bed (which suited me). The room is advertised as "Garden view" but it's actually "Street view!" Since the restaurants are right next door and the windows are just shutters, bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Decent Thai breakfast. Weak Wi-Fi.
In Bangkok, I think where you choose to stay has a large influence on your enjoyment of the city. Staying at Neighbor Phuthon was perfect. The breakfast every morning was delicious, and Bai at the front desk is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet (and his English is outstanding). It's walking distance to many sites, but is on a quiet side street, enabling us to relax after a day out in the hustle of downtown. I am so glad we chose to stay here, and will gladly return.
We really enjoyed our stay. After a long day in the busy city, coming back here felt like returning to a little oasis away from the chaos. The area is very quiet and peaceful, with some nice small restaurants nearby. A big thank you to Khun Pei and his colleague, whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch. You were amazing hosts and made our stay truly special. The authentic Thai breakfast is great, definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Great Place!
